Krakow and Schindler's Factory

We went to Schindler’s Factory. It had been built in between 1939 and 1943. Now, it has been turned into a museum. Maybe you remember the film “Schindler’s List”. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should watch it.

The film is a biography. It is about a guy named Schindler. He is a man who doesn’t have any money and a job. Then, he starts to supply goods to the army thanks to his different connections. Then, he starts mass production. He gets closer to the Nazis. But the more he gets into them, the more he realizes about the massacre. Therefore, he offers a plan to Nazis: “If you give me 10 Jewish people, I will give you 500 pots.” His plan is to save as more Jewish people as he can. But he spends too much money on this plan that he has to sell his car. Despite all these difficulties he had, he manages to save 1,100 Jewish people in the end.  The Jewish people he saved melt their golden teeth and made a ring for Oscar Schindler. On the ring writes: “Whoever saves one life, saves the World.” There was the same writing on the Factory’s door. Oscar Shindler had gone to South Africa after the war. Then he had returned to Germany and died there in poverty. Now Jewish people he had saved are known as “Schindler Jewish” and they had became 6,000 people in the time when the film had been shot. Please watch the film for details.
